Hi everyone! The Fabulous Boudoir weekend was a blast! Hopefully some of the girls will let me share some of the images with you… It was more fun than I even thought it would be, and I’m so grateful to everyone for being a part of an amazing weekend.

I also want to congratulate Amy and Rich on the birth of their beautiful new daughter. Many of you know Amy from the images of her in front of the Four Seasons on their wedding day … and soon you’ll see a few of their sweet little girl.

Today I wanted to post just a couple quick images, from Jessica and Phil’s wedding. This wedding provides examples of moments that make me appreciate being a part of the important times in people’s lives … fleeting moments that may pass quickly, but if you’re paying attention, hold things to always remember.

During the final prayer, Jessica and Phil stood so close, and just soaked in the words and the moment. I couldn’t take my eyes off them. You can see how much they appreciate each other and savor the moment.

And as many weddings as I ever see in my life, I don’t think I’ll ever stop appreciating the beauty of a veil caught in just the right light.

And I’ll close with this little boy, dancing at the reception. I’ve rarely seen such unrestrained pure joy as this little guy dancing. I watched him in awe, and thought to myself, wouldn’t it be great if we could all reconnect to that unbridled zest, so much that people can just watch it spring out of us?

Can you feel the excitement in the air? That’s because today starts the fabulous, amazing, spectacular Boudoir Weekend! There will be 11 (yes eleven!) fabulous sessions over 3 days. This has been such a success that I’m already planning the next Boudoir weekend.

Before I head out, I’m going to share a few more images from Alexis and David’s wedding. Yeah, it was last month, but I’ve been meaning to post these and just haven’t had any time. The vineyards are such a romantic setting, and they were troupers even though it was HOT.

I know I told you about Alexis before, but she just has that special something that lights up an entire room. So much charm that the camera just soaks it up. Can’t you just see her on the big screen?

    Are they adorable, or what?

Now, for the record, I don’t ask wedding parties or brides/grooms to jump. Jumping has to come from within. Clearly it did.

I love this shot of Alexis dancing with a little girl.

And this sweet moment during their first dance.

I’ve said it before, but I wish there was a hora at every wedding.

For those of you participating in the Boudoir weekend, I’ll see you soon! And everyone else… have a fabulous weekend!

    Hi everybody,

Wow, things are crazy around here. We’ve had 7 weddings in the last 4 weeks, and just been swamped, so I know I’ve been a little slow with the blogging lately. While I’m downloading some files this morning, I thought I’d do a quick little blog from Stephanie and Jonathan’s wedding.

But first … I had two spots open up for the Super Boudoir weekend. So if you’ve been on the fence about doing it, now’s your chance. Both spots are on Sunday the 24th.

Now for Stephanie and Jonathan. I have to show you some of the amazing details from this wedding. Stephanie got this handkerchief custom made for the mother of the groom. Isn’t it wonderful?

The ladies got ready at Stephanie’s parents’ home, and this window seemed like it was built for a wedding dress to hang in.

And how fab are these shoes?

Also on hand was their dog, Houston. My dad had a bulldog for many years, and I just love them. This one is a little tank.

The flower girl wanted so badly to put the head piece on herself. When she put it on backwards, it was just too cute.

Their reception was at this beautiful rural property, and this was along the entrance, a lovely tree and torch-lined drive.
