One of my favorite things about my job is when someone turns into a supermodel before my very eyes. Krystalyn was one of those brides. I knew when we met that she was beautiful, but in front of the camera she just shines.
I mean, come on… those eyes.
The flowers were perfect. Something about the combination of the colorful flowers and the golden sparkly leaves made it just right. It is so cool when a bouquet becomes a floral translation of the bride’s personality.
The bridesmaids also brought out their inner model.
The guys, on the other hand, were more inclined to jump around…

By the time we did Krystalyn and Justin’s portraits together, it was dark, which gives us an entirely different look and gives us new lighting elements to work with.
There’s something about this image I just love. It has a very classic American Gothic feel.
With darkness comes twinkly lights…
