Hi again, more today from Robin and Mac’s wedding. Today, the reception.
One cool and very fun element of Vo family weddings is (a Vietnamese tradition, I believe) that the bride’s parents escort the bride and groom around to each table, where they open each table’s bottle of champagne, greet guests, and the guests present the couple with cards. In this case, they also popped little confetti bottles and generally had a blast.

Particularly love the walrus greeting at this table.

I was drawn to this corner by the smell of fresh cheesecakes. Yumm. And when Robin gave us a whole cheesecake, I almost kissed her right on the lips.

So, you tell me… do you think people had fun at this wedding?

There are happy brides, there are ecstatically happy brides, and then there is Robin Vo. From the day we met Robin, I hoped we’d be able to shoot her wedding, because joy bursts from her like champagne from a freshly corked bottle. I rave about how I love the Vo family all the time, but it isn’t every day I get to show you a Vo wedding.
I’ll start with Robin’s dress. Love the sparkly details.

Putting on the veil.

And here’s Robin.

During the ceremony, Katherine, the flower girl, got a little bored, and started to wander…

Leaving the flower ball (and the roses pulled from it) sadly discarded in her place.

The flowers, by the way, were classic and beautiful, by Southern Bouquets.

This is the natural state of Robin and Mac:

I often say that every woman has little supermodel at her core, just waiting for the opportunity to spring out. But Melissa may have gotten double the supermodel gene. Not only is she beautiful, she really enjoys photography and practically sparkles in front of the camera. Melissa wanted to do a fashion-style bridal shoot, and we spent a chilly afternoon at the Foundry in Athens. She’s so spectacular, I think this post will be just pictures from here…
