I knew this one would be fun because we had met some of Krystalyn and Justin’s friends at Kylie and Jeff’s wedding (remember them in the snow?), and theirs was a blast. But at this wedding, I was struck by the closeness of the people. It is wonderful to see so many people together who really thrive in each other’s company.

I love how the train drapes around the granite post. I was going to write some bad pun about us always putting our brides up on a pedestal, but I just couldn’t do it.

Krystalyn was one of those brides. I knew when we met that she was beautiful, but in front of the camera she just shines.

The flowers were perfect. Something about the combination of the colorful flowers and the golden sparkly leaves made it just right. It is so cool when a bouquet becomes a floral translation of the bride’s personality.

By the time we did Krystalyn and Justin’s portraits together, it was dark, which gives us an entirely different look and gives us new lighting elements to work with.
